The Task
A 3-months appointment (January-March 2010) to work on site with GSTS’ HR Director and Business Development Director, to complete the planning and begin effective implementation of a range of marketing communications initiatives
Key Deliverables and Outputs
- Work as Communications lead for the Kings project team (GSTS was negotiating a partnership with King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and had established a Transition team for this major project)
- Project manage the design and development of essential literature to support business development activity (including contractor selection)
- Project manage the selection of a PR Company best suited to support the short-medium term needs of GSTS Pathology
- Facilitate and support the development of an effective internal communications activity and implementation plan
- Project manage an appropriate GSTS ‘Anniversary’ event to take place in February 2010
- Provide a coaching service for appropriate staff

| From Gillian Aldom, HR Director Liz provided strategic and operational communications support to GSTS relating to various projects from a re-branding programme, major organisational change as well as providing coaching services to support the development of a communications function for the business which has numerous complex stakeholders. Liz also devised a communications skills and customer service skills based training course for staff, which has had excellent feedback. |
